Small Business Administration (SBA) has great resources for new and even existing companies. Businesses that are just getting started should seriously consider checking into SBA’s Website. It only takes a quick review of their online guides, as well as their learning center, to recognize they provide well needed direction and advice for new entrepreneurs.
Thinking about starting a business?
Whether you are thinking about starting a business from home, online, or a physical store, SBA has expert material for nearly any type of business and that cover a broad range of topics. If you want to know what strategic planning is and why it is important, SBA can tell you. If you want to create a business plan, SBA can help you. Looking for resources for Women Owned Business, SBA has what you need. If you are a Veteran or Native American Owned Business they have resources for you as well. Additionally, SBA has great resources to help you manage your business, learn about taxes, dealing with compliance requirements, marketing and sales, and many others that match your business needs.
Needing a business financing?
If you are looking for business loans or grants, SBA can help connect you with reliable funding sources and SBA approved lenders. Want to know if you qualify for research grants? You can find details about that on their website by visiting: Research Grants for Small Businesses. Not only that, but SBA can also help you find venture capital and help you determine if you qualify for funding.
Small Business Administration has local offices nationwide
Because Small Business Administration has local offices across the nation it makes accessing their resources and expertise very convenient. SBA also has Small Business Development Centers, Women Businesses Centers, and SCORE Business Mentors, ready to assist you. You can find an SBA office near you by visiting: Local Assistance Tool on their website.
Upcoming Event for Veterans?
Also, SBA has a special event coming up October 30th to November 3rd, 2017. It’s their National Veteran’s Small Business Week and, in fact, is their fourth year of holding this event.
“SBA celebrates, connects, and empowers service member (including National Guard and Reserve), veteran, and military spouse entrepreneurs and business owners—past, present, and future—during 2017’s National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW).”1
We encourage any Veteran who is already a business owner or is considering entrepreneurship to visit their local SBA office to learn more about this week of celebration. Further, SBA is encouraging anyone who wishes to join in the conversation surrounding Veteran Entrepreneurship.
