Sometimes progress is hidden from our sight because all the activity is happening behind the scenes. During these times we might need to learn new concepts and processes that will help improve the outcome of our goals or we are researching for a different solution. Perhaps part of the plan needs to be reworked because new information was identified and everyone agreed that stopping to include this information was a solid course of action.
Whatever the reason, there are legitimate times when a project is moving in the right direction but the visual evidence doesn’t provide the proof. We raise this point to remind ourselves that every project experiences this and to have patience while the unseen work is being completed. It doesn’t matter what the project is…this is always a good idea to keep in mind when it looks like nothing is happening.
Sometimes it’s little by little, and sometimes by leaps and bounds; the key is that activity is happening, people are taking appropriate actions and because of that–the work will get done.
