I’m Going to do that
“Someday I’m going to do that.” How many times have you said this to yourself or to others I’m going to finish that project? Well, how many more times will you say it before you listen to yourself and finally do it?
We’re serious. How many times will you promise yourself someday you will write that book, someday you will learn a new language, take a trip, build a new home, become a designer, change careers, or any one of the other personal declarations you’ve made?
You don’t put things on your list without a reason. There was a spark inside and you became excited about an idea, then you created a goal for yourself. You wrote it down even, fully persuaded you were going to fulfill that goal someday. Moreover, you assured yourself, and maybe a few friends, or family, that you were committed and it was going to happen.
Your dreams and goals are important
Reaching a goal has both internal and external rewards. Doing what you promised yourself builds your esteem and character. Isn’t it time you listened to the part of you that believed you could and would reach your goal? We think it is because your dreams and goals are important.
Remember, your voice matters. That thing that is in your heart to do matters. Not only that, but your “someday” dreams matter! You need to let yourself believe that. Be fully persuaded that you can and will reach your “someday” right now. Let go of all the negativity that has been holding you back.
Make a commitment to yourself
After you wrote the goal down you started gathering resources and completing research on your goals. If it has been a while since you last worked on it; why not pick it back up and start again? Look over your schedule and slot an hour or so to focus on your dreams. Make a commitment to yourself.
Let expectation come alive in you again-expect great things of and for yourself.
