So, what is the idea behind My Project Club anyway?
Well, first and foremost it is about all those “Want to Get To Someday” projects that so many of us have. You know that list of things you hope to, wish to, want to, maybe will do someday, that you have created and carried around for years. Okay, for those of you that don’t have that kind of list we are happy for you–no, seriously we are. It is quite an accomplishment to have a clean list and you should be very proud of that. Maybe you will be kind enough to leave a comment or two telling us how you manage to keep your list so small or current. In the meantime, for those of you whose list has been written, rewritten, revised, thrown away, ignored, or whose list calls to (nags at) you every day; this site is for you.
We have a list too
You see, we have that kind of list too. Whether that list includes writing a book, organizing the growing number of photos, working an exercise plan, finishing a training program, going on a vacation, improving finances, or starting that business, there are items on our list that never gets “marked completed.”
Welcome to the Club
It’s that list of personal projects that is more of “when I get to it, if I get to it, maybe I’ll get to it someday” and little action is taken to start, let alone, complete the project. Yet, we have researched, bought products and resources, and even declared to ourselves, friends, and family that we are going to do this or that. We think there are others who can identify with what we are saying here. To all of you we say, “Welcome to the Club.”
Part of the challenge
At My Project Club, we have setup a challenge to do something about that list and finally take action to complete the personal projects we have on it. This website is part of that challenge. It is our hope it serves as both an encouragement and a motivation to our readers to take action on their personal project list too.
Smallest tasks are celebrated
As we build this site we will post about the different projects we are working on and how the project is progressing. My Project Club is a place where things get done, a place where even the smallest completed task is celebrated, a place where each step taken counts toward achievement. If you can relate or need that place like this…”Welcome to the Club!”
